Welcome Shiloh!

It is impossible not to come across news of the new most famous baby if you read a newspaper and that's what happened to me again today. However, unlike any other celebrity news, this news actually make me feel good because the parents have taken all of their steps so wisely so far. I have to admit I really like this family and what they do for the world, specifically Africa. More on what they do here:

And giving their child a Rasta name highly contributes to my fascination about this phenomenon. Here is what SHILOH means:

1-
An ancient village of central Palestine northwest of the Dead Sea. In the Bible, it was a meeting place and sanctuary for the Israelites and the site of a tabernacle where the Ark of the Covenant was kept until its capture by the Philistines.

2- generally understood as denoting the Messiah, "the peaceful one," as the word signifies (Gen. 49:10). The Vulgate Version translates the word, "he who is to be sent," in allusion to the Messiah.
